Yes but you should be aware that it sometimes does not turn out well for thewhistleblowers. There are obvious risks involved since the IRS is not exactlyknown for its winning and compassionate ways. The risks are that they mightfind something that impacts negatively on the person reporting themalfeasance. The rewards are knowing you did the honest and honorable thing.We are all lessened by the wrongdoing of those upon whom we should be able torely. This is true especially for fraud. Tens of millions are affected everyyear by fraud. The wrongdoing of one can harm many. I made the choice toreport and it cost me a great deal but I would not even consider doingotherwise. I choose to act on the side of the angels.
